Overview:
The Quality and Regulatory Specialist
supports the company’s regulatory compliance and quality assurance
efforts. This role ensures adherence to quality and regulatory standards
and assists in implementing and maintaining efficient systems for
compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the maintenance and execution of quality systems and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant quality standards and customer requirements.
- Support the documentation and investigation of chemical raw material issues and non-conformance events, including tracking corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production and procurement teams to ensure the products meet all regulatory and company specifications.
- Assist in the sampling, testing, and release of raw materials following company protocols.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, such as product documents, labeling, sampling, and QC approvals.
- Help ensure that all documentation, practices, and processes comply with industry regulations and standards.
- Support the supplier and vendor audits, including collecting and reviewing necessary documentation.
- Coordinate customer feedback collection related to product quality and work with relevant teams to implement improvements.
- Assist in monitoring and updating the Quality Assurance Plan for continuous improvement.
- Provide administrative support for creating and managing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform other regulatory and quality tasks as assigned by the Chief Operating Officer.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in regulatory compliance, quality assurance, or a related role in the chemical, personal care, or related manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards (e.g., GMP, ISO, REACH) is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent tools.

- Work hours: Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm with 1 hour meals break
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
