Role Overview
The Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative will be the primary contact for daily customer needs — from order processing to shipment coordination and technical support. This role works closely with Sales, Operations, Logistics, and Quality teams to ensure timely, accurate, and professional service.
Key Responsibilities
  • Enter and manage customer orders in the ERP system; ensure accuracy of pricing, lead times, and documentation.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, including order status, shipping, and product information.
  • Coordinate with Production and Logistics on delivery schedules and inventory availability.
  • Prepare quotations and support the commercial team with proposals and price confirmations.
  • Track shipments and resolve any delivery or billing issues in collaboration with Finance.
  • Maintain accurate and current CRM/ERP records for all customer interactions.
  • Assist with claims or complaint handling and coordinate resolutions with Quality and Operations.
  • Support internal process improvements for customer service efficiency.
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of B2B inside sales or customer service experience, preferably in chemicals, materials, or manufacturing.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer relationship skills.
  • Proficiency with ERP and CRM systems (experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, or Odoo preferred).
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Familiarity with chemical product documentation (TDS, SDS) and regulatory compliance.

Role Overview
The Account Manager is responsible for managing and expanding customer relationships within a defined territory. This role focuses on driving growth, supporting formulation projects, and ensuring customer satisfaction through consultative, technical selling.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans to meet revenue and margin goals.
  • Manage existing customer accounts and build relationships across procurement, R&D, and management levels.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, including OEM and distributor partnerships.
  • Provide product and formulation guidance in collaboration with technical and operations teams.
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and coordinate contracts in alignment with company policy.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and opportunity pipelines in CRM.
  • Travel to customer sites, trade shows, and distributor meetings (20–40%).
  • Monitor competitor activity and provide market insights to the marketing and product teams.
Required Qualifications
  • 2–5 years of outside sales or account management experience in specialty chemicals, silicones, personal care ingredients, or related B2B technical sales.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build long-term customer relationships.
  • Technical aptitude and ability to discuss formulations and application performance with customers.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly.
Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Business.
  • Experience managing distributor or regional accounts.
